How do we quote and work?
Every job starts with a look at the problem. After that, you get a written quote that describes the work and the price. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall or under a floor, we tell you before doing anything extra, and you decide how to proceed.
We try to avoid jargon. If a part is worn out, you hear why. If a repair is enough, we say so instead of suggesting a bigger job. As a reader, you should also feel free to ask any plumber to show their RBQ licence and proof of insurance before they start.
